Oliver and Andy set up Union Plumbing and Heating after previously working together for a large Huddersfield based Heating Company.

“When we started out, we put together our last savings to buy a battered van and tools. We took it in turns to put £10 in diesel in the tank to get us to the next job. The heater didn’t work in the van, it was the middle of winter and we would dread leaving peoples warm houses to get back in a van with frost covered inside the windscreen”

This seems a million years ago, since Union Plumbing and Heating became established with local letting agents and customers things have got bigger and better every month.

Working under the Eco and Green Deal scheme, Union fitted over 50 boilers for people under the government free boiler replacement deal. Every boiler was assessed and had to meet the highest standards set by Gas Safe and boiler manufacturer standards. This alone proves workmanship is to the highest standards in the industry.

Union have also worked on several large building sites offering first and second fix for new build homes. For private customers they have fitted bathrooms, kitchens, central heating systems and all general aspects of plumbing and heating.
