A J Gas and Electrical Services Ltd is a father and son business. Our aim is to provide a first class service at a competitive price, a large percentage of our work is by recommendation, and we offer a prompt, efficient and importantly a reliable service. The company is Gas Safe (207682) and ELECSA Part P (EPP2644) registered, which comply with all the current regulations.
The main core of the business is all aspects of domestic gas, plumbing, heating, and electrical work. This encompasses Installation, service, repair and safety certification. We are based in Long Eaton Nottingham and cover all areas of Nottingham, Derby and parts of Leicestershire.
Since January 2005 it has been a requirement that electrical installation work undertaken in domestic dwellings must follow the new, Part P Building Regulations (Electrical Safety in Dwellings). These regulations state that works, repairs, maintenance etc., on electrical installations in certain areas must either be carried out by a "competent person" or approved by the local authority (Building Control department), before and after the works are carried out.
